The purpose of this course is to advance hot stone techniques, investigate hot stone massage for special populations, and introduce new hot stone tools. At the end of this course, students will demonstrate proficiency in advanced hot stone massage techniques, understand how and when to apply this knowledge to special populations, and display practical knowledge of new hot stone tools, including basalt stones, pink Himalayan salt stones, and more. Students who attend should bring sheets and extra pillowcases to be used during the bodywork portion of the class. Hot stones will be provided by instructor for use during the course.
