Job Description: Medical Receptionist – Immediate Hire

Solano Spine & Sport is seeking a motivated, organized, and highly dependable Medical Receptionist to join our team for immediate hire.

We are a busy, established sports chiropractic practice that also offers massage therapy and rehabilitation services. Our team currently consists of one doctor and three therapists, creating an active, fast-paced environment where communication, organization, and teamwork are essential.

This is much more than a traditional front desk position. The Medical Receptionist is truly the heartbeat of our practice and one of the most important roles in our office. This person helps set the tone for the patient experience while making sure the day-to-day operations of a busy healthcare practice run efficiently.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their position, communicates confidently, stays organized under pressure, and has the ability to recognize what the office needs—sometimes before being asked.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and create a welcoming, professional experience
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient communications
• Coordinate scheduling for the doctor and massage therapy team
• Check patients in and out efficiently
• Call insurance companies and verify patient insurance benefits and coverage
• Accurately collect and maintain patient information
• Assist the doctor and therapists when needed
• Help coordinate patient flow throughout a busy office
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff
• Maintain an organized and professional front office
• Stay aware of the daily needs of the practice and proactively help keep operations running smoothly
• Handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining excellent attention to detail

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is dependable, personable, professional, proactive, and extremely organized. Because we are a busy practice, you must be comfortable multitasking and transitioning between responsibilities throughout the day.

We want someone who understands that great patient care begins at the front desk. You should enjoy interacting with people, be comfortable working in a team environment, and take pride in helping an office operate at a high level.

Previous experience in a medical, chiropractic, physical therapy, rehabilitation, massage therapy, or similar healthcare setting is highly valued. Experience with insurance verification is strongly preferred.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of the practice, not simply fill a front desk position.

 

Compensation

Salary is based on experience and is very competitive. We understand the importance of this position and are willing to compensate accordingly for the right individual.
