Position Overview

We are looking for a Virginia-licensed Massage Therapist who is passionate about therapeutic bodywork and creating exceptional client experiences. The ideal candidate is reliable, client-focused, and confident performing a variety of massage modalities including deep tissue, Swedish, sports massage, prenatal massage, and wellness-focused treatments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s individual needs
  • Perform modalities such as:
  • Deep Tissue Massage
  • Swedish Massage
  • Sports Massage
  • Prenatal Massage
  • Aromatherapy Massage
  • Conduct client consultations before each session
  • Maintain accurate SOAP notes and client records
  • Educate clients on wellness, self-care, stretching, and recovery techniques
  • Maintain treatment rooms in a clean, sanitary, and professional condition
  • Create a welcoming and relaxing environment for all clients
  • Uphold Virginia massage therapy regulations and professional ethics

Qualifications

  • Active Massage Therapy License in the State of Virginia (required)
  • Professional liability insurance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to customize treatments based on client needs
  • Experience with therapeutic and wellness-focused massage preferred
  • Reiki experience or holistic wellness background is a plus
