Salary: $38.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week

  • 4 hour shift
  • Afternoon shift
  • Morning shift

Job Description:

We are looking for professional, self-motivated, massage therapist with a healing touch to join our team. Fast paced chiropractic wellness center looking to fill our massage therapy position. You will have your own personal massage suite and waiting area including all the necessary equipment and supplies. Our staff is in control of your scheduling and collections.

We are looking for a therapist that can work individually, but also work closely with the Doctors in their case management.

Candidate must have a keen interest in health and wellness, be focused on helping and healing, and be a team player.

This position is FT or PT and salary will be discussed. Our therapists usually average up to 21hrs/week

 

Required Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and anatomy – Experience in patient service, assessment, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management – Proficiency in customer service and occupational health

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize physiology knowledge to customize massage treatments based on individual client needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring a comfortable experience.
  • Implement pain management techniques to alleviate discomfort and improve client well-being.
  • Incorporate occupational health principles to promote overall wellness during massage sessions.
  • Perform deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific areas of tension effectively.
  • Apply medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to educate clients on the benefits of different massage techniques.
