Job Description: Licensed Massage Therapist
Job Type: Part-time, Full-time
Overview:
Must adhere to all applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations related to the massage therapy services provided, including following any applicable law pertaining to maintaining current Massage License.
Must maintain current license and complete required C.E.U.’s.
Massage duties may include but are not limited to greeting and assisting guests, Knowledge of and experience in performing Swedish, Hot Stone, Deep Tissue and Couples massage preferred.
Knowledge of and experience in performing other modalities such as Prenatal, Watsu, Chair massage also preferred, as well as other modalities offered by Cacapon Resort State Park.
May be cross-trained to provide additional spa services.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public. Ability to learn quickly and perform efficiently the duties assigned.
- Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of treatment rooms and common areas.
- Properly document and maintain all treatment records.
- Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
- Have a strong customer service orientation.
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively (orally and written) and in a courteous and professional manner on a regular basis with guests, co-workers and management.
- Communicates various promotions to clients.
- Follow all practice policies and protocols.
- Designs specific sessions based on the guest’s individual needs.
- Provides the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
- Work with salon management to create marketing programs designed to attract more guests.
