Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team at Spring Ridge Chiropractic in Frederick, MD. Choose your own hours from in a newly renovated space that you enjoy. We supply the clients! In this role, you will deliver professional massage services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our clients. Your expertise will help enhance their health through personalized treatments tailored to individual needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on our clients’ lives while working in a supportive and energetic environment alongside other healthcare professionals.

Duties:

  • Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client-specific concerns.
  • Conduct patient assessments to understand their health history, current issues, and treatment goals
  • Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing pain management or relaxation.
  • Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant health information.
  • Ensure a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for all clients during each session.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff when necessary to optimize patient outcomes.

Skills:

  • Strong patient service skills with the ability to listen actively and respond empathetically.
  • Proficiency in patient assessment to tailor treatments effectively.
  • Knowledge of deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy techniques. Medical massage helpful but not required.
  • Knowledge of pain management strategies and how massage can support recovery.
  • Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional manner.
