About Pulse Community Care

Pulse has been a fixture in Silver Spring’s Fenton Village neighborhood since 2015. We’re a holistic wellness practice offering acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, pelvic floor acupuncture, zero balancing, somatic coaching, and massage.

Our massage therapist is at capacity, which means there are patients already looking for appointments, just waiting for you to step in. We’re looking for a part-time Licensed Massage Therapist who brings both skill and genuine care to every session and wants to be part of something that feels like a community rather than a clinic. We need someone who is good with medical massage, treatment plans, can handle our current patient overflow and expand our massage availability. You’ll be joining a warm, collaborative clinical team in a practice where patients genuinely look forward to coming in.

What You’ll Do

• Provide Swedish massage, medical massage, and therapeutic bodywork to established and new patients
• Coordinate with front desk on scheduling and patient communication
• Document session notes in JaneApp
• Provide patients with complete treatment plans for them to schedule out and continue care
• Refer to other members of the team

What We’re Looking For

• Active Maryland massage therapy license (required)
• Proficiency in Swedish massage and medical massage
• Professional, warm, and patient-centered approach
• Reliable — we need someone who shows up and communicates clearly
• Comfortable in a holistic, integrative health environment
• Professional – provides treatment plans and explains care to their clients

Nice to Have

• Experience with prenatal massage, lymphatic drainage, or cupping
• Interest in holistic health and Chinese medicine philosophy
• Willing to work Saturdays

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate and commission on products sold.
